Profiles

Stuart B. Hill, President and Founder

Mr. Hill is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania where he studied Accounting, Finance and Computer Science. He is a Certified Public Accountant and worked for what is now Ernst & Young in the areas of Audit and Management Advisory Services. Past management positions included Financial Vice President of various companies. In all of these positions, he was ultimately responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of management information systems.

In August 2002, Comprehensive sold its software division to Exact Software a large, global, public software company based in the Netherlands. Mr. Hill served as General Manager and Director for Exact Software North America while remaining President of Comprehensive. At Exact, he was extensively involved in strategic planning including product development, sales and marketing for Exact Software North America. In 2006, Mr. Hill left the management of Exact to focus on emerging and distressed businesses. His experience in addition to relationships with investment bankers, private equity firms and other consultants allow him to assist businesses with all aspects of their organization.

Mr. Hill is an authority on microcomputer based accounting software, possessing extensive knowledge of general and vertical market applications. He is the former Chairman of the Florida Institute of CPA’s Committee on Microcomputers. He is a board member and former president of the Wharton Alumni Club of South Florida. Mr. Hill also serves on the Wharton Alumni Association Board as Chair of the Global Technology Committee and as such oversaw the rollout of the school’s new portal for 84,000 alumni. He is a member of the Florida and American Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. He and other CBS employees have been guest lecturers for several local colleges, universities and other organizations. He has written articles for various publications including CPA Today and The CPA Technology Advisor. He is often quoted in numerous industry publications such as Accounting Today and Accounting Technology.

Marc A. Schauben, Vice President

Mr. Schauben has a degree in Business Administration from University of South Florida. In addition, he has completed numerous professional education courses in a wide variety of technical areas.

Past management positions include: Vice President of Operations of Network Sciences Corporation & Vice President and Director of Operations for US Medical Corporation. At these companies, Mr. Schauben was directly responsible for software design and testing, hardware, software and telecom purchases, implementation, maintenance and support. Prior to joining Comprehensive Business Systems, he was founder and president of LiMarc Services Corporation, a successful systems consulting firm specializing in PC based networks.

Mr. Schauben has 30 years of systems experience encompassing a wide variety of computer applications, operating systems and hardware including PC’s as well as minicomputers. His vast knowledge, experience and ability to strategize with our clients, create comprehensive implementation plans and solve complicated integration issues make him key asset to Comprehensive Business Systems and all of its clients including those with internal IT staff.

Michael J. Bellini, Senior Consultant

Mr. Bellini has completed multiple technical trade school programs in both programming and networking. In addition, he has taken numerous professional education courses in a wide variety of technical areas. He has been certified as both a CNA and CNE.

Mr. Bellini began his career as a programmer for Scan Optics and then became a Systems Engineer for Northern Telecom in 1980. Since that time, he has held several positions including Support Analyst, Manufacturing Manager, and General Manager/Owner for a variety of businesses. Since 1997, he has focused on computer systems consulting. He has experience with a wide variety of computer applications, operating systems and hardware on both PC’s and minicomputers including MS Windows Server Platforms, MS Office Productivity Software, MS Access, MS SQL Server, MS Exchange Server, Multiple Backup Solutions, Symantec Security Suites, Internet Security, IIS Web Server, Server and Desktop Virtualization, Windows Terminal Server, Citrix XenApp, Various Accounting and Project Management Systems, Local and Wide Area Networking.

His experience in programming and many other areas of business make him a highly effective consultant that is able to look at problems from many different angles. Mr. Bellini’s organizational skills as well as attention to detail give him the ability to design, implement as well as document complex environments make him a valued member of the Comprehensive Business Systems team.
